
Botanical Garden Berlin
With a variety of around 20,000 plant species, the Botanical Garden Berlin is the largest in Germany and one of the most important in the world. On 43 hectares of open land and in fifteen greenhouses, visitors get fascinating insights into the world of botany. As a hub of international biodiversity research and a place for generating and imparting knowledge, the Botanical Garden employs around 230 people. With the Botanical Museum, it has Germany's unique museum facility dedicated to the diversity of the plant world, its importance and the presentation of its cultural and natural history.
