Bio

I am an archaeozoologist and museum curator at the Ditsong National Museum of Natural History, Pretoria. My work explores human–animal entanglements as they unfold across different spatial and temporal scales. Taking a deep‑time approach, my research reconstructs southern African human–animal dynamics over the last 2,000 years, alongside a more contemporary focus on the social histories of scientific collections and science–art public engagement initiatives around endangered mammals.
