Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park is a national monument in Accra dedicated to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President and a leading figure in Africa’s independence movement.

Located at the site where Ghana proclaimed independence on 6 March 1957, the park comprises Dr. Nkrumah’s mausoleum, museum, and landscaped gardens. The institution is responsible for preserving and interpreting Dr. Nkrumah’s legacy through heritage conservation, research, exhibitions, education, and public engagement, while promoting Ghana’s independence history, Pan-Africanism, national identity, and tourism.
