Futurium is an innovative “House of Futures” that focuses on the question: “How do we want to live?”. It opened in September 2019 and is one of the five most visited museums in Berlin. Futurium sees itself as a place for reflection and interaction on the major challenges and opportunities for our future. The permanent exhibition is divided into three areas: Human, Nature and Technology. In addition to exhibitions with stimulating scenarios, a hands-on lab and a forum for collaborative dialogue, there is a wide range of digital formats, and the Mobile Futurium visits schools across Germany. Futurium is supported by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). Other partners include the DAAD and other science organisations, research companies and foundations.
