As the CollabFund projects come to a close at the end of December 2026, the teams will have gained valuable experience and knowledge to contribute to ongoing conversations about new ethical practices on international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the future of museum practice.
This year’s forum will offer an opportunity to meet the project teams, learn from their experiences, and gain first-hand insights into their collaborative journeys, key learnings, and reflections. The event will provide a space for dialogue across TheMuseumsLab network and beyond, bringing together museum professionals, cultural practitioners and partners interested in collaborative approaches to shaping the future of museums.
The forum will also offer an early look at the themes that will inform the forthcoming CollabFund joint publication, inviting participants to find out more about the opportunities, challenges, and evolving practices of transcontinental collaboration.
